WORKSHOP BUS

We intend to organise a bus transportation connecting Fiumicino Airport (FCO) "Leonardo da Vinci" to and from the workshop site, ferry crossing included (participants who will use the workshop bus don't have to buy any ferry ticket!). We will activate this service if  the number of participants willing to use the workshop bus is above a reasonable threshold.
The timetable will be as follows: 
Arrival: Sunday September 17th, from Fiumicino Airport to Hotel del Golfo, h. 13:00.
Meeting point: Terminal 3, details will follow but  there will be somebody waiting for you at the meeting point and the bus departure is sharp, so take a flight that will arrive by 11:30/12:00). 
Departure: Saturday Semptember 23rd, from Hotel del Golfo to Fiumicino Airport, h. 7:00 (expected arrival time at the airport: h. 13:00).
The cost  is 100 euro for passenger A/R, including the ticket for the ferry (26 euro). 
Participants wishing to use the workshop bus are invited to specify the request in the registration form (this information is important for us also to book and buy the ferry tickets for all passengers). For those interested and already registered, please contact emanuele.spitoni@oca.eu

 

How to reach the workshop venue

  • By plane to Roma airports, and then using the workshop bus leaving only from Roma Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci airport (FCO). 
  • By plane to Pisa Airport, and then by the Airport Shuttle to Piombino Marittima and then by ferry-boat or hydrofoil to Portoferraio.
  • By train to Piombino Marittima and then by ferry-boat or hydrofoil to Portoferraio.
    A public bus connects Portoferraio to Procchio (6 minutes of walk to the hotel). Otherwise you can use a taxi or the hotel shuttle.  
  • By car to Piombino, ferry-boat to Portoferraio, and to Golfo Hotel (about 10km).
